INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cups of P.A.N. Sweet Corn Mix
1 ⅓ cups of whole milk
¼ teaspoon of salt
⅓ cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of melted butter
For the pine or beef stew:
500 gr. of ground beef
1 medium onion
⅓ cup of white raisins (optional)
2 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
½ teaspoon of cumin
½ teaspoon of paprika
Merkén to taste
½ teaspoon of salt
4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced.
10 black olives
PREPARATION
Beef stew or pino de carne: In an oiled skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the onion with the grated garlic cloves, cumin, paprika and salt for approximately 3 minutes. Integrate the ground beef, raisins and leave on the heat until the meat is completely cooked.
Corn dough: In a container, mix the milk with the P.A.N. Precooked Yellow Cornmeal, P.A.N. Sweet Corn Mix, salt and sugar.
Assembly: In a deep rectangular baking dish, pour a layer with the beef stew (pino de carne). On top of that layer, place another layer of the hard boiled eggs cut into rounds and the black olives. Finally, spread on a layer of the corn dough or corn pastry. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 °C. Serve hot.
