Alimentos Polar Europe consolidates its operations in Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland and Belgium
In order to increase the presence of its traditional products and strengthen its new portfolio in the markets of Germany, Holland, United Kingdom, Poland and Belgium, Alimentos Polar Europe consolidates an alliance with the commercial distributor Unidex and thereby enhances its expansion in Europe.
Thanks to an exclusivity agreement, Alimentos Polar Europa will expand the scope of its product portfolio in the main cities of the aforementioned countries, with the aim of consolidating its presence in these territories. This alliance is the first of a series of agreements that Alimentos Polar Europe will establish with strategic commercial allies to expand in approximately 40 countries in the continent.
Alimentos Polar Europa will distribute P.A.N. precooked corn meal products in its white, yellow and sweet mix presentations; Polar Pilsen beer, Polar Maltín malt as well as products from the P.A.N. Snack ON frozen products portfolio.
“We are very pleased to have strengthened the work we have been doing with Unidex and to take another step forward in our commercial relationship,” said Toni Manzolillo, Commercial Manager of Alimentos Polar Europe. We are sure that through this alliance we will expand our reach and coverage, and we will be present in more channels, which will allow us to conquer new consumers and continue expanding our brands in Europe”, he added.
Empresas Polar has been operating on the continent since 2019 through its subsidiary Alimentos Polar Europa, following a partnership with the Casa Mestiza group. In 2020 and as part of the strategy, it inaugurated a new frozen and refrigerated products processing plant in Madrid, Spain, with which it went from a capacity of 1,000 tons to 10,000 tons per year.
Another of the company’s challenges was to have its own distribution and sales system in Spain to guarantee better coverage of this market.
Alimentos Polar continues to take firm steps in its expansion process to other European countries and aims to continue strengthening its participation in these markets.
