Alimentos Polar Spain wins the European Award for Best Company of the Year 2022.

● The European Society for Social and Cultural Promotion has awarded this recognition to Empresas Polar, through its subsidiary Alimentos Polar España, in the category of Food: Production and Distribution.

● An award that recognizes the company’s track record in the production of food and processed precooked corn meal, its expansion strategy throughout the different continents and its commercial alliances to bring its products to consumers around the world.

Madrid, December 21, 2022 – Empresas Polar, through its subsidiary Alimentos Polar España, has been awarded by the European Society for Social and Cultural Promotion with the European Award for Best Company of the Year 2022 in the category of Food: Production and Distribution. This distinction is awarded to companies that carry out their activity with complete professionalism and excellence, being also outstanding in their respective sectors throughout the year and that, in addition, with their trajectory and performance, are an example and an inspiration for their peers and, also, an engine of progress and social growth.

In the case of the award granted to Empresas Polar, through its subsidiary Alimentos Polar España, the European Society for Social and Cultural Promotion recognizes “its trajectory in the production of food and processed precooked corn flour, expansion and strategic alliances so that its products can be enjoyed in different continents”, according to the organizers.

2022 has been an important year for the corporation, which has experienced growth in sales and distribution. Strategic commercial agreements have been signed, with the aim of expanding the reach of the products in its portfolio in the main cities of Europe. In addition, this year Alimentos Polar España opened a new distribution center in Madrid to meet the demand from 4 continents: Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania, which is in addition to the frozen and refrigerated products processing plant that has been operating in the Spanish capital since 2020. The new logistics warehouse can store more than 4,000 pallets of frozen and refrigerated products under the P.A.N. Snack On Gust- brand, P.A.N. precooked corn meal and Polar beer.

The European Business of the Year 2022 Award gala took place last Friday, December 16, at the Wellington Hotel in Madrid, where Fernando Rodríguez, director of Empresas Polar for Europe and Asia, and his team collected the award.

The European Award for Best Company of the Year is an initiative that celebrates its first edition and, in addition to Alimentos Polar España, have been awarded companies such as: Bodegas Emilio Moro SL in the category of Wine Tradition and Wine Tourism; Explotaciones Agrícolas Hermanos Guerrero Gemez SL in the category of Agricultural quality and innovation; or MIT School in the category of education.
